And then there were 3!

As most of you know we have had a pretty busy month and it's only just beginning. The following is the story of the birth of our little Lyndee.
Thursday August 30th i started to feel very small contractions. Thursdays are the days that Jason goes to Jackson to work all day and i was totally nervous that he wasn't going to make it back in time if i did go into labor. But i held off until he got home and i asked him to take me to the hospital. We got up there about 7 and they checked me and i was at a 2. They made me stay for a couple of hours and checked me again and of course i hadn't dialated. . . . so they sent me home.

All night on Thursday and all day Friday i had contractions, but not bad enough that i felt like i needed to go to the hospital. Friday night i started having really strong contractions, and i decided it was time to go to the hospital. We got to the hospital about 11 and they checked me. I was at a 3 and they decided to admit me. i waited another 3 hours and got checked again and had dialated a little more so they gave me the epidural. About 7 they started me on the pit and immediatly i started to dialate. My water broke and it all went down hill from there. As they were checking me i started to bleed a lot and the nurses seemed very concerned. they called the doctor in and he made the decision to wait. In the mean time Lyndee's heart beat was dropping with every contraction and I was still bleeding like crazy. They decided to do an emergency C-section.

At 12:38 PM Lyndee Else Schreier was born. She was 7 lbs 1 Oz and 20 inches long. She is perfect in every way. The most beautiful baby i could have imagined. It has only been 3 weeks and my life has changed in so many ways. i couldn't imagine life with out her. Jason and I are so happy we finally have our daughter. And she is the best baby. I am so happy to be a Mom and Jason is the best Daddy.

Latest Happenings

So i know its been forever since i have posted anything, so i decided that i would update everyone on whats been going on in our lives. So i guess we will start with the first of the year since that seems to be a good place to start.

So on the 12th of January Jason and i went on our 4th cruise, we ported out of San Jaun and boy was that a really long flight. We left here around 10 on Saturday morning and went down and saw Lacy and Dustin for a while and went out to dinner, they then took us to the airport so we didn't have to leave our car there for 7 days. Thanks guys you are awesome!! anyways we flew out of SLC at 11:00 at night and made it into new york about 5:30 thier time. we were then delayed for over an hour because a crew member decided not to show up on time. However we finally made it into San Jaun at about 1:00 in the afternoon their time and were exhausted, we hadn't slept really at all on the plane and just wanted a nap, we eventually got on the boat, but wasn't able to get into out rooms yet, which really sucked because we just came from really cold weather (you know sweaters, long pants and warm shoes) to somewhere where it was almost 85 degrees with nowhere to change. it was awesome!! anyways we left San Juan at 10:00 at night and we were finally on our much needed cruise. We went to several different ports, such as St. Thomas, Barbados, St Kitts, St. Lucis, and St. Martin. WE LOVED IT. it was so warm and we basically shopped for a couple hours at each port and then went and hung out on the beach for the rest, we came back really tan and really sad that we had to come home back to cold weather. all and all we had a blast but were more than ready to come home and be with our little puppies. the last night we were there we had entered in a raffle to win a free cruise. they drew out one ticket out of several hundred tickets, and guess what?? WE WON!!! i guess we are going on another cruise this year and can't be more excited.
Here are just a few pictures of our Vacation.

So that was January. In February Jason's opa (grandpa) passed away, so we Made a very quick trip down to California to go to the funeral, but we made the best of the little time that we had. we went and saw a bunch of places that i had never been too. We went and saw the hollywood sign and the stars on the street. we went and saw LA ink and went up to beverly hills. we also went to Venice Beach, although it was pretty cold and rainy the whole time. we had as much fun as you can have when you down for a funeral.
And last but not least the first of march we went to Vegas for the NASCAR races, we had so much fun i even got my very first and most likley my last tatoo, on my foot. i loved it although it really hurt and i don't think that i could ever do that again. all in all we had a good amount of fun. i can't wait to go back next year.
Other than our several vacations/last minute trips we have been working like crazy and just trying to keep up with the demands of the windshield business. we are excited for the nice spring weather and can't wait for summer so we can go boating again. we are enjoying our life and living it to its fullest!!! can't wait to see what else life brings us.

THE HOLIDAYS + HOLLOWEEN

So its been a while and i thought i would update you all on how our lives are going and what we have been up too.
First i need to correct some things from out last post, first of all Jason in 31 not 30 as you all would have been able to tell by the number on the cake. obviously i was really not paying attention when i was posting because it wasn't Shannas 21st birthday it was her 23rd birthday. so there are your corrections.
Not a whole lot has been going on since this time, until holloween or the weeks before holloween anyways. a couple of weeks before holloween Jason and I plus our good friends Shanna and Mike decided it would be a good time to try going to a straw maze we also went to big juds and ate as well, the straw maze was fun at least for the first little bit. we were able to find our way out without a problem, so we (ok I) decided we should go back through. and then Jason decided it would be fun to climb to the top of the straw and look out overtop of us. well needless to say he got in trouble and we almost got kicked out but it was still pretty fun. A week or so after that we all decided we should carve pumkins. i have been promising Shanna that i would post these pictures. we all had a good time and i think the pumkins spoke for themselves they are pretty freaking awesome. take a look!!

from left to right the pumpkins belong to Jason, Mike, Kacey, Shanna
here are just a few more random picutures from that night:

Me carving my pumking

Jason with his finished product a spider web!!

Shanna with her finished product and owl to match her shirt!

Mike with his finished pumpkin Shanna and Me i did a skull and cross bones
and the complete finished products!!
We had a ton of fun that night and i think all our pumpkins turned out great.
The Friday before holloween Shanna and Mike had a party and we went to that. we got to dress up i dressed up and a principal and jason as Captain Jack Sparrow. we failed to get any picutures of this but we went to shannas house and played a murder mystery game with a bunch of different people. it was a lot of fun. after that we went over to a party that a couple of people from my work were thorwing, we all had a good time, even jason! even though he wont admit it. i am so glad we have friends like Shanna and Mike to keep us company! Thanks guys!
On the day of holloween we decided not to do much, however we did dress up our puppies so here are a few pictures of them- Mia was a pirate and Miley was a pumpkin i know its kind of weird to dress up your dogs but i was fun anyways.

needless to say they werent very happy about being dressed up!

Thanksgiving was a little differnt this year because my mom had to work. so we decided to do thanksgivng at our house with jason's family and some of my family. we had some great food and jason's turkey was amazing. my mom was able to get off work later that night and she came over for a while to make our thanksgiving a little better, but all in all it was a great thanksgiving.

The day after thansgiving Jason, Chance and I drove down to SLC to go to a Jazz vs. Lakers game, it was a great game and the Jazz actually won. it was so much fun and i can't wait to do it again. oh and Jason and i are going on a cruise on Jan 16th to the Caribbean and we are so excited it is a 7 day cruise and we are going all over the caribbean. i will post pictures of that when we get back.

Lastly we got our Christmas tree up today. and i love it. we decided to do pink again this year and i love it even more than last years. here a few pictures of our pretty pink tree. my family calls it my princess tree. poor Jason. at least he is a good sport about it and seems to be ok with the pink. I love him!!

this picture makes it look like the tree is leaning but it's not it must just be the angle i took it at.

all in all we have had a great couple of months. and i am sure it will be another couple of months before i post again so enjoy!!!

Summer Madness!!

So its been a while since i have posted, so i decided i would try to give some updates

#1 well i failed to mention in my last post that Jason and i celebrated our 2nd anniversery in June. I can't believe we have been married for that long. we still have just as much fun as we did while we were dating except we live together now. I have heard people say that the first year is the hardest, and i can't disagree more, these last 2 years haven't been hard, they have been great and i wouldn't trade them for the world.

#2 Jason and i had a great 4th of July. On friday we went up to the dry farm with some friends, Shanna, Mike and Candra, as well as my parents, grandparents, and some cousins and lit off fireworks rosted hot dogs and had a few drinks, it was a blast. On Saturday we went to the fireworks down by the river and they were more amazing this year than they were the year before. we finally got my parents to attend, (they haven't gone to the fireworks since i was little) and they loved it. i think they will continue to go from now on.

#3 Jason turned the big 30 this year on July 19th. Of course he wasn't that happy about it, but i love birthdays. Always have and Always will, so i woke up that morning happy as ever, singing him happy birthday and annoying the crap out of him but it was fun. then i took off work early, went and got stuff to make a cake, and balloons, came home made him a yummy red velvet cake and decorated it all pretty, and suprised him when he got home. We went to dinner that night and had his family and my family over for cake and ice cream. it was fun and i think he is now getting used to me being so excited about his birthday, so maybe next year he will be a little more excited, but i doubt it!!!

#4 The last week in July, Lacy and Dustin came down for our 5 year reunion and stayed with us. we had a blast. The first night they were here we all went out plus Shanna and Mike to dinner, it is amazing to me how, even though we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, we can pick up like nothing has ever changed. We all get along so well and our husbands hit it off amazingly. I love when we are all together, i never stop laughing and it is a blast. we finished our night with a pretty dumb movie and called it a night. the next morning Jason and Dustin (as well as some other guys) went riding. I can't tell you how much alike Jason and Dustin are. Lacy and i are amazed how similar they are. and we are impressed how we can leave them in a room together and they can talk forever, i love it! They whet riding, we, plus shanna, went to our 5 year reunion. 10 people and an hour and half later we left. i can't believe only 10 people showed up but o'well it gave Lacy an excuse to come down for a weekend. We finished our day off with going boating and it was a blast. I am so greatful that even though we are graduated and live completly different lives we can all get together and have a blast. Thanks Lacy, Dustin, Shanna, and Mike for hanging out with us, we have to do it WAY more often.

#5 For Shannas birthday we went boating in Ririe, had a picnic on the water and both Shanna and i tried wake boarding for the first time. neither and i got up, but we had fun trying and boy was i sore the next day. But it was fun! HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY SHAN!!

ok this is getting far too long so i will wrap this up. we have had a great summer so far. Jasons business is doing GREAT he is always busy, and i am liking my new job. We are relaxing as much as possible and just enjoying life. thats all for now, if you read this thanks for taking the time! BYE for now!

UPDATE!

So its been a little while since i have last done this, so i thought i should probably update my blog, so here ya go.
Well since i graduated i have recently accepted a job at United Medical Solutions doing billing and accounts payable. I am still training but so far so good. Its a good job, with good pay, and i get benefits, paid vacation and sick pay. It's also an 8-5 job which means that i can spend nights with Jason and i am loving it (although i don't know if he is loving it all that much) But all in all its been great and i am glad that i finally have a "grown up" job.
other than that we haven't really been up to anything. We are loving life and having a blast living it. I hope to have more to update you on next time, but until then, this will have to do!

FINALLY A COLLEGE GRADUATE!!

So I have finally done it! After 5 long years of school that kicked my butt left and right I am finally a college graduate and really couldn't be more happy. I graduated with my bachalors degree in accounting, and although I haven't found a job yet (I haven't really looked either) I will find a job, hopfully close to home, where I don't have to work nights and weekends. Oh and I no longer work at Big Juds. I am going to miss it at least a little but I have opened a new chapter in my life and that job just didn't seem to fit in with my new chapter. I'm sure I will find a job soon and in the mean time I will catch up on stuff that has been neglected for the last couple of months because of school. Starting with this blog. Then its time to clean out the closet. Jason has always complained that I have too many clothes that I dont wear anymore so I guess it is time to finally fix that problem.
Nothing really new is going on in my life. A couple of weekends ago Chance, Dani, Lacy, Dustin, Ben, Ashley, Jason and I all went down to the motor cross race. It was a blast! All except the part where it part rained and part snowed on us all night! And it wasn't a light rain/snow it freaking poured all night! We ended up missing the last race, due to the fact that the blanket we were using felt like you had stuck it in a bath tub full of water! It was soaked all the way through along with me and Jason. Of course we weren't really prepared for the rain either. I had brought a light sweater and that was it! And that for sure wasn't enough! But it was fun to hang out with Lacy and Dusting again. I love those guys and I only wish they lived closer so we could hang out more often. Jason and Dustin really seem to get a long with is great for me and Lacy. I miss you LACE!!! come visit soon!!
Lastly, and I know this is getting really long, I really just want to thank all my friends and family for supporting me throughout my whole college career, especially Jason, he has had to put up with long nights of me studying as well as me being cranky because I have to study and so on. He has been so great, pushing me when I didn't think I could go on anymore. I love him so much and I don't know what I would do without him. I also want to really thank my mom and dad and the rest of my family. without them I probably wouldn't have even started school, and although it has been hell!!! I am glad I stuck through it and graduated. I feel so validated and accomplished now! And to the rest of my family, aunts and uncles, cousins and just friends thanks for all the support.
I know no one got an announcement so that is why I put a picture of one on here. I was afraid I wasn't going to pass a class and I didn't want to sent out invites if I wasn't actually going to graduate. By the time I knew I was going to graduate there was only 2 days until graduation and I didn't see the point. so here is my annoucement to you! THANK YOU ALL!!!

Rest In Peace Norm!

Well, the last couple of weeks have been pretty eventful. For those of you who don't know since January 2nd Jasons dad has been really sick in the hospital for a week, and then in a nursing home for the rest of his time here. Well at the end of Febuary Jason and i went to vegas with my family for the NASCAR race, and although we were worried about his dad we still had a good time, and a much needed break from reality! We came back on Monday the 1st, Jason dropped me off in Pocatello for my night class and right as he was getting into Idaho Falls he got the phone call, his dad had passed away. Although we were all really sad, Norm has been suffering for at least the last 2 months if not longer and we all know he is in a better place now. so for the last 2 weeks we have been planning the funeral. it is now over and although it was pretty rough for the family, we are all glad its finally over. We miss you and love you Norm!! May you Rest in peace, and we can't wait until we get to see you again on the other side!
As another note i am getting closer and closer to graduating and it couldn't come any slower. This has by far been the hardest semester and i really hope that i pass all my classes so i can graduate! so wish me luck! well thats all for now! maybe ill post a little sooner next time!
